East African Standard 26 June 1919 The death occurred on Monday evening of Sergt.-Major E. S. Reynolds, of the M.L.C., who died at the European Hospital from pneumonia. The deceased Sergt.-Major, it will be remembered, played left wing three-quarter in the recent Rugby football match between Home and South Africa, at which it is believed, he contracted the fatal chill. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon.
