General Information:

Trevor Barnes (grandson) Not long after he left Pembroke WW1 broke out and he went into the army.  Unfortunately he was gassed in 1917 and this damaged his lungs greatly.  He moved to Switzerland after the war for the air purity but then moved to Kenya (1925 I think) as the air was dryer and better for his health. He taught English at Kenton College Nairobi (which is still going).  His lung condition grew worse though and he died in March 1930 aged just 40.  My dad's brother Harold was killed in WW2 at Arnhem).  After WW2 my dad returned to Kenya and I was born there in June 1958.
