Playne - J.H. Twigg's Farm - BEA has attracted settlers from every part of the British Empire. Mr Twigg is an instance of one coming from West Australia. When he arrived 2 years ago (1907) he first of all went on a general safari around the country, and then settled as tenant on 4000 acres in the Kedong Valley, the property of Mr Bowker, and situated some 8 miles from Kijabe Station and 4 miles from Escarpment Station. There are 2 streams running through the property. .......... There is no timber on the farm fit for building or fencing purposes. The bomas and garden, however, have been fenced. Mr Twigg is waiting to obtain land elsewhere, and does not intend to stay permanently on the present farm.
