Kiambu Scrapbook - Stone houses were rare before the First War, though Captain Moller had built one  in 1912 on Deepdene, with very rough cement floors and Kavirondo matting serving as ceilings. This still stands though it has been improved out of all recognition by the Findlay family.

Kiambu Scrapbook - Below 'Waitangi' was a Captain Moller, a Swede, who had planted 65 acres of coffee by 1912, on the farm known as Deepdene, which Mr Findlay also subsequently bought.
