Gazette - 18/2/1930 - Obituary - His Excellency the Governor regrets to announce the death on 11 February 1930 at Nairobi of Ernest James Titman Clerk of Works in the PWD.
Mr Titman entered the service of the Colony on 6 June 1926 having previously been in the service of the PWD of the Govt. of Southern Rhodesia.
Mr Titman, during his service in the Colony, was engaged on important building works in Nairobi and greatly assisted in their successful completion. He at all times had proved himself a loyal, conscientious and able officer and was held in high esteem by all with whom he came in contact.
