Habari 26 - 'a reference to the Royal Wajir Yacht Club and for the record the sword referred to belonged to my father-in-law, Maurice Vernon. It was in fact a Naval ceremonial sword and it was destroyed when Maurice Vernon's house in the 5th KAR Barracks at Meru was destroyed by fire in 1934 or 35. .......
