Nigel Bishop (Peter Bishop's son): In 1926 Peter Bishop went to Kenya with his mother, Joyce Bishop (who married Captain Angus MacDonald following her divorce from Eric C. G. Bishop). He took over the running and management of Dornie Farm, Nakuru, after return from WW2. The farm was eventually sold in the early 1960s and he left Kenya to explore a new life in South Africa and Australia. In World War 2 he travelled with the Kenya Regt to Uganda and Sudan, supporting supply lines for the RAF. He then served in Ceylon and Burma with 1st East African Light Battery.
