Eldoret - Went to SA to marry a farmer. He died. She returned to teach in the old Eldoret Central School. She was a strong, likeable character. When her pupils got upset and did not want to listen to her, she would drop them outside the low schoolroom window. She started from SA for the Plateau on 2nd March 1911. She was a wonderful old lady who regretted she did not marry before 45, having refused an earlier offer of marriage.
