Kiambu Scrapbook - The Kiambu Club - 1913 - In those days the 'golf course' only consisted of three holes, which were made in front of the DC's house in 1912, by the Assistant DC (as DO's were styled then). This young man, Tony Lane, had taken the opportunity of using prison labour for this purpose, which had been made available to him officially to clean up the bush round the Boma in honour of a visit by the Governor, Sir Henry Belfield.
