Golf - In 1934 a remarkable feat was performed by Mr S.O. Hemsted and Mr R.P. Pretty, when they played 101 holes of golf in one day. The handicapping was 3/4 of the difference of their respective handicaps plus 1/4 stroke a hole for the difference in age. Mr Hemsted who was then over 50, won 17 up!
