Advertiser - Friday April 30, 1909 - Court Case - E. De La Rue v H.B. Dooner - This case had been in litigation for a period of about two years. The plaintiff had leased a piece of ground at Nakuru from the defendant with certain conditions as to payment of the rental.  The trouble arose from the Land Office having accepted payment of this rental from the Plaintiff and the Defendant. Adjustment was finally made out of Court.
