General Information:
Golding - Father went to Kenya to retire having served there in WW1. I arrived in Feb. 1939 and joined the staff of a large importer of trade goods and exporter of produce in Nairobi. Spent 6 months with them. Called up as private in Kenya Regt. - youngest European in EA Forces? .......... after WW2 joined the Colonial Service and was interviewed by Sir Ralph Furse. Spent 17 years in Tanganyika retiring as Deputy PC. After Independence formed the National Tourist Board. ...... In 1965 appointed Administrator of Turks and Caicos Islands. On returning to England he spent 13 years as a Queen's Messenger. ......... retired to live in Kent.
