Chandler - Ken McDougall was a skilled professional hunter who went into a partnership with C.J.P. Ionides in Tanganyika around 1930. The two operated a safari service out of Dar es Salaam. McDougall possessed a great amount of hunting knowledge but had a serious drinking problem. When under the influence he would fight and squander money, and he was always under the influence. The partnership broke up within 2 years. By that time McDougall had already managed to put Ionides £600 in debt.
Ionides - "A very fine Hunter".
Snake - a drunkard and agressive, but a good hunter. He brought the partnership he had with C.J.P. Ionides into debt via drinking and died of drink.
