Ancestry Family Tree WW1 at Gallipoli. 25 Apr 1918 Kemmel, Belgium wounded whilst acting as Liaison Officer for the 9th Scottish Division during the German Army attack - Military Cross award citation: For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He made a reconnaissance under heavy fire, and brought back most valuable information to his O.C. He has previously done fine work.
Re-enlisted in WW2 - May 1940 France Captain Pringle MC serving as GSO2 with KOSB as part of 46 Brigade - recommended for award of Bar to Military Cross WO 373/16/195. He carried out many dangerous reconnaissances and when wounded he helped a severely wounded brother Staff officer to shelter.
