Sir Crispin Agnew (grandson): he was in the South African Horse in East Africa 1914 to 1917, when he joined KAR (3rd then 5th) until he retired in 1924. He was then in the Kenya political service, and acted as a game warden until he was seconded to the Jubaland Boundary Commission 1925 to 1928, when he became the British Consul at Gore, Western Abyssinia 1928 to 1936 – it closed because of Italian/Abyssinian War. He was awarded CMG in 1937 for work at Gore. Then in UK till WW2 when in Cairo and then India before coming back to farm in South Africa c. 1950.
