Paulette Lloyd Greame fell in love with Sinclair Cleland-Scott (1900-1952) but neither was free to marry so they decided to live together on her farm .......... During WW2 she started 'The Lobster Pot' in Regal Mansions with 3 European women to help her including Noreen Langridge. ....... In 1942 she bought a transport business .......... After WW2 she sold 'The Lobster Pot' and the transport business and latterly got into Kyanite mining. ........ She eventually bought another farm 'Cheptoiyet' formerly 'Woodlands Farm'.

Greame Bought a farm about 14 miles from Nanyuki, situated on the top of a small hill, with a drive on each side. The house, which was known as the Loldaiga Farm, was L-shaped, and the inside of the L faced the Loldaiga Hill and Laikipia plains.
