General Information:

Greame - 1935 - I had been in Kenya only about a week when I met Sinclair and Anne Cleland-Scott. Sinclair was a tall, thin Scotsman known to the natives as 'Ngatuni' - The Red One - because of the colour of his skin. He wore a huge stetson and arrived in a dilapidated Chrysler box-body car called The Treasure. Anne was a young, lively, but rather bad-tempered lioness. .... Paulette Lloyd Greame fell in love with Sinclair but neither was free to marry so they decided to live together on her farm. .......... He eventually died of pneumonia.
East Africa & Rhodesia - 24/1/52 - Mr Cleland Scott, who has died in Kenya, was at different times a professional hunter, writer, lecturer, prospector, farmer, animal trapper, and a director of Trans-Africa Ltd., a touring and safari business. He arrived in Kenya more than 30 years ago, and had had remarkable success with lions and leopards as pets.
Sinclair Ramsey - Kenya Regiment 1562
Greame - 1935 - Sinclair was a farmer, white hunter and spare time writer who hated farming and longed only to be free of its responsibilities so that he could go off into the blue, hunt, write and keep lions.
Red 25 also has J. Cleland Scott, Nanyuki
