Salvadori - Two Indian Travellers p. 86 - arrived in Mombasa in 1896, and in 1897 he was appointed first headmaster of what became the Buxton School. In 1899 he married Annie Grieve, a fellow missionary teacher who had come to Mombasa in 1893. Rev. Parker was transferred to Tanganyika in 1903. In 1906 he resigned from the CMS.
