General Information:

Tracks - a great American whose forebears hailed from the Scottish highlands. He died a short while ago aged 80+ in America, one of the last of the great hunters of the old school ........ a lover of firearms of all kinds and never failed to keep his weapons in spotless condition. - "One day J.A. my life may depend on the cleanliness of a gun." As a revolver shot Sandy achieved perfection, largely due to his training in the American Army. His preference was always for the Smith & Wesson .357, a heavy charge revolver which I have seen him use with deadly accuracy on guinea fowl and African francolin. ....... gave up hunting with a gun and turned to cine camera - eventually returned to the USA ..... He was a great man, a great hunter, bluff and hearty and a splendid companion.
