Gazette - Arthur William Fraser, Temporary Second Lieut., Border Regt. For conspicuous gallantry in action. After suffering heavy casualties he led his company up to the enemy wire at a place where it was uncut. Though severely wounded, twice by bombs and once by rifle fire, he continued to direct the wire cutting till he lost consciousness.
