Kiambu Scrapbook - St. Paul's Church, Kiambu - The two wooden figures at the west end, St. Michael and an angel holding a (broken) crown of thorns were given by Mr Laurence of Fort Ternan when he left the country for good. They had been in his family for generations and the tradition was they had been loot from the Marlborough wars. An expert dates them as 17th Century and of S. German or Flemish work.
